Lactobacillus Ferment

INCI: Lactobacillus Ferment

Effects: Probiotic, antimicrobial

Compatibility: very good

Lactobacillus Ferment is a fermentation product of lactic acid bacteria . It is vegan and belongs to the group of probiotics that support a healthy skin microbiome. Lactobacillus Ferment has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is a promising supportive ingredient for cosmetic skincare treatments for rosacea/cuperosis and acne.
Lactobacillus ferment displaces harmful bacteria, thus creating a healthy, balanced skin microbiome. The fewer "bad" bacteria there are on the skin, the more space there is for "good" bacteria. Inflammation and disease-causing germs have less chance of taking hold in a healthy skin microbiome.
Compared to known anti-acne agents and anti-inflammatory salicylic acid, Lactobacillus Ferment reduces redness of acne lesions faster.
