What is Terminalia Ferdinandiana?

The Kakadu plum, also known as the goat plum, comes from Australia and is one of the latest discoveries in the healthy aging field. The INCI name is Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract .

It is characterized by a high content of natural ingredients such as gallic acid, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) , α-tocopherol (vitamin E) and lutein. This combination makes it an excellent active ingredient for the care of stressed skin.

Kakadu Plum Effect

The Kakadu plum has a strong antioxidant effect and soothes the skin at the same time. The naturally contained ascorbic acid is particularly effective in lightening hyperpigmentation without irritating the skin. This extract has an impressive active ingredient profile that is ideal for treating stressed and sensitive skin. For optimal effect, the proportion of Kakadu plum in your serum should be between 1-3%.
