Sensitive skin on the body: what to do if you have a detergent allergy?
Posted by Lara Schimweg onDo you have skin irritation caused by fragrances in detergent? 😎
Unfortunately, allergy sufferers in particular have major problems with this topic. 🤯So if you have permanent red spots on your neck, chest or anywhere else on your body, then take a look at your detergent.
Which detergent is suitable for allergy sufferers?
If your detergent contains irritating fragrances, the skin redness may be caused by a contact allergy. Natural detergents in particular often contain natural fragrances: allergy-triggering essential oils , which can often trigger allergic reactions on the skin.
Our tip if you have a detergent allergy
Get a fragrance-free laundry detergent. There are now alternatives. And maybe then hopefully the reddened skin will also be gone. 😌
And if your skin doesn't react to the scent in the detergent (so far): be aware that contact allergies can arise at any time. Unfortunately 😒
So decide for yourself what is more important to you. Scented laundry or allergy prevention.
You can also spray a little perfume into your hair because you'll wash it out in the evening.
Please decide for yourself.
