Aloe vera is a plant that grows mainly in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It has been used for centuries for its healing properties and can be applied both internally and externally.

Aloe vera in cosmetics

Aloe vera naturally contains several anti-inflammatory agents, such as salicylates, polysaccharides, magnesium lactate, and c-glucosylchromone. Aloe vera moisturizes, has antibacterial properties, and can support wound healing. In skincare, it can be used pure as aloe vera gel or incorporated into skincare products as juice or extract.

Aloe Vera as a food

Taken internally as juice, aloe vera is said to help with digestive problems and contribute to strengthening the immune system and reducing inflammation. However, taking high doses or for extended periods is not recommended or should only be done in consultation with a doctor.
