Horse Chestnut as a Skincare Ingredient
Horse chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum Seed Extract) is a cosmetic active ingredient. It has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. Horse chestnut contains the active ingredient escin, which strengthens the smallest blood vessels (capillaries). Redness is alleviated.
