INCI: Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil

Effect: strengthens the skin barrier, has a balancing effect

Tolerability: good

Hemp oil is obtained from the seeds of the hemp plant. It has a high proportion of linoleic acid and alpha and gamma linolenic acid (vitamin F). You strengthen your skin barrier so that your skin becomes less greasy and less pimples and inflammation can occur.

Hemp oil for acne or rosacea:

If you have acne or rosacea/coupereos , you may not get along well with plant oils such as hemp oil. That's why most Xeno products contain skin-identical fats, such as squalane or pure linoleic acid, which are better tolerated.

Note: At Xeno we used to have pure hemp oil because of the positive properties of the linoleic acid it contains. However, we have decided to replace it with even better tolerated oils: Human Glow is an oil mixture of skin-identical fats and vitamins.

Hemp oil application

You should only use pure hemp oil in the evening , as pure hemp oil breaks down in sunlight (that would be stressful for your skin). Always prep your skin with a moisturizer and add 1-2 drops of hemp oil to your face .
