INCI: Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil

Effect: strengthens the skin barrier, has a balancing effect

Compatibility: good

Hemp oil is extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant. It has a high content of linoleic acid and alpha- and gamma-linolenic acid (vitamin F). It strengthens your skin barrier, resulting in less oily skin and fewer breakouts and inflammations.

Hemp oil for acne or rosacea:

If you have acne or rosacea/coupereo , you might not tolerate plant oils like hemp oil very well. That's why most Xeno products contain skin-identical fats, such as squalane or pure linoleic acid, which are better tolerated.

Note: We previously used pure hemp oil at Xeno due to the beneficial properties of the linoleic acid it contains. However, we have decided to replace it with even better-tolerated oils: Human Glow is an oil blend of skin-identical fats and vitamins.

Hemp oil application

You should only use pure hemp oil in the evening , as it breaks down in sunlight (which would be stressful for your skin). Always prepare your skin with a moisturizer and then apply 1-2 drops of hemp oil to your face .
