What is resveratrol?
Resveratrol is extracted from red grapes and is a very powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants bind free radicals and reduce skin stress, to which our skin is exposed daily.
Resveratrol effect
Resveratrol is particularly effective when incorporated into your morning routine to prevent UV-induced oxidative stress. Why is this important? UV radiation can cause skin cancer, and resveratrol, in addition to daily sun protection, minimizes this risk. Resveratrol can also be used as an adjunct therapy for existing melanoma.
When it comes to skincare and antioxidants, the rule is: "The more, the better." Ideally, your skincare products should contain a variety of different antioxidants.
