What makes Soft & Strong so special? 

The Kombucha Essence is a probiotic care boost, with ferments and food for your microbiome.

Its minimalist formula requires only a few effective ingredients to boost the skin microbiome. This allows the essence to be easily incorporated into an existing routine without introducing too many new active ingredients, thus preventing skin irritation. Naturally, it also contains no fragrances, alcohol, or other irritating ingredients.

Soft & Strong combines minimalism and effectiveness, and is therefore suitable for even the most sensitive skin.

The essence reduces redness, firms and smooths the skin, and ensures in the long term that the skin is stronger and no longer reacts so quickly.

How does Soft and Strong differ from other Xeno products? 

All Xeno products are microbiome-friendly, and most are also probiotic. Soft & Strong is specifically formulated to rebuild the skin microbiome and is highly probiotic.

Here's the difference compared to our other toners/essences:

Bright Head:Mildly probiotic. Focus: Moisturizes, has a strong antioxidant effect, smooths lines and wrinkles, and plumps up the skin.

Pure Optimist:Mildly probiotic. Focus: Reduces acute redness, such as flushing, cools the skin in hot weather, refreshes, and provides antioxidant protection against environmental stressors. Ideal for taking with you as an SOS solution for redness.

Tea Break:Very mildly probiotic black tea instead of Pu-erh tea. The spray doesn't specifically moisturize because it's designed for over-treated skin (perioral dermatitis). Ideal for neurodermatitis to relieve itching. It also reduces redness and can be an alternative solution for flushing.

What is Pu-erh tea?

Pu-erh tea, thanks to years of fermentation, is naturally rich in polyphenols, theaflavins, tannins, theabrownins, catechins, and gallic acid. It moisturizes, reduces swelling, firms the skin, and constricts blood vessels, thus minimizing redness. At the same time, the ferments and fiber in the probiotic essence create ideal living conditions for beneficial bacteria.

What is the pH value of the essence?

The kombucha essence has a slightly acidic pH of 5.5, which helps maintain the acid mantle. A stable acid mantle ensures that harmful germs have no chance.
