How does Soft and Strong differ from other Xeno products?

All Xeno products are microbiome-friendly, and most are also probiotic. Soft & Strong is specifically designed for building up the skin microbiome and is very probiotic.

Here's the difference from our other toners/essences:

Bright Head:Slightly probiotic. Focus: Hydrates, has strong antioxidant effects, smooths lines and wrinkles, and plumps the skin.

Pure Optimist:Slightly probiotic. Focus: Reduces acute redness, such as flushing, cools heat in the skin, refreshes, and provides antioxidant protection against environmental stressors. Suitable for on-the-go use as an SOS solution for redness.

Tea Break:Very slightly probiotic. Black tea instead of Pu-Erh tea. This spray does not specifically moisturize because it is especially made for over-treated skin (perioral dermatitis). Ideal for neurodermatitis to relieve itching. It also reduces redness and can be an alternative solution for flushing.

What makes Soft & Strong so special?

The Kombucha Essence is a probiotic skincare boost, with ferments and nourishment for your microbiome.

It is formulated so minimally that only a few effective ingredients are needed to boost the skin microbiome. This allows the essence to be easily integrated into an existing routine without adding too many new active ingredients that could irritate the skin. Of course, it also contains no fragrances, no alcohol, and no other irritating ingredients.

What is Pu Erh Tea?

Pu Erh fine tea is naturally rich in polyphenols, theaflavins, tannins, theabrownins, catechins, and gallic acid due to years of fermentation. It provides moisture, has a decongestant and firming effect, and constricts blood vessels, thereby minimizing redness. At the same time, the ferments and fibers in the probiotic essence provide ideal living conditions for good bacteria.

What is the pH value of the Essence?

The Kombucha Essence has a slightly acidic pH value of 5.5, ensuring the acid mantle remains intact. A stable acid mantle prevents harmful germs from thriving.
