Application

For acute over-care / perioral dermatitis

As part of a zero therapy, where you otherwise use no cosmetic products, you can spray 2-4 pumps onto damp skin daily or whenever itching occurs and gently pat it in with your hands.

ForPerioral Dermatitisuse only this essence for at least 4 weeks and no other skin care (unless a dermatologist has prescribed something different).

For receding perioral dermatitis or itching

Spray 2-4 pumps onto damp skin when itching and seal with cream or oil.

You can generally combine the Essence with all Xeno products. You can use it in the morning, evening, or in between.

How does TEA BREAK differ from other Xeno products?

The black tea essence differs fundamentally from our other products because pure black tea has a completely different effect than other skincare products. Therefore, we specifically recommend TEA BREAK to support skin that has been over-treated, perioral dermatitis, or itching.

How does the Black Tea Essence differ from other essences, toners or hydrolates?

As far as we know, there are no comparable products on the market, because only pure black tea has this specific effect, so that TEA BREAK can also be used during zero therapy. There are isolated products that contain black tea, but within a formulation with other ingredients. Therefore, we would not recommend such products for zero therapy.

What is the advantage over self-brewed black tea?

Theoretically, you could simply brew black tea yourself, let it cool down and store it in the refrigerator for about 2 days. But in detail, it is different. TEA BREAK is even more skin-friendly and saves you a lot of stress:

How Tea Break works

Itching usually leads to a vicious cycle of inflammation -> itching -> scratching -> inflammation, etc.

TEA BREAK helps to break the cycle in three places:

• Black tea relieves itching
• Catechinsand flavonoidsfrom black tea work against germs on weakened skin
• antioxidants and tannins inhibit inflammation and reduce swelling

Own formula and what it means

In contrast to many products on the market, this formula has been developed in-house. This is the only way to address skin needs so precisely.

Many cosmetic brands do not develop their own formulas. This is called "White Label" (standard formula with a different label) or "Private Label" (slightly adapted formula). While this would save us a lot of work, only with our own formulas can we precisely address the needs of the skin. A product like the Black Tea Essence would not be conceivable, as there is no standard formulation for it that could simply be modified. It is important to us to develop for the respective skin need.

What is the pH value of the Black Tea Essence?

TEA BREAK has a pH value of 5.5. Skin has a pH value between 5 and 6. This slightly acidic range maintains the skin's acid mantle, which ensures that bad bacteria cannot multiply easily.

What is the product packaged in?

The product is packaged in a glass spray bottle. We reserve the right to change the packaging without prior notice.

How long does the essence last?

6 months after opening, recognizable by the small jar symbol on the label with the inscription "6M".

How long can I use the cream?

Depending on consumption, the 100ml version lasts approx. 1-3 months.

The 4ml version is for testing and should last approx. one week, depending on consumption.
