How does Fade Away differ from other Xeno products?

Fade Away has a healthy aging effect. You'll also find this in the Healthy Aging Night Serums. However, the active ingredient in the night serums is different – ​​namely, bakuchiol. A basic routine designed to prevent skin aging is structured as follows: Fade Away, with its vitamin C content, belongs in your morning routine, while the Healthy Aging Serum with bakuchiol belongs in your evening routine.

The vitamin C in Fade Away effectively lightens hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and melasma. Caring Cloud also lightens acne scars and hyperpigmentation. While Fade Away is significantly more effective at lightening brown spots, Caring Cloud gently lightens hyperpigmentation during cleansing. A combination of both products is ideal.

Lifted Mood also contains vitamin C and is specially formulated for the sensitive eye area. The vitamin C concentration is lower than in Fade Away.

What makes Fade Away so special?

Sensitive skin – especially those with couperose or rosacea – often reacts sensitively to pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid). The acidic pH of many products can further strain the skin barrier. In cases of atopic dermatitis, there is even a risk of eczema worsening. At the same time, gentle formulations are often insufficient to effectively combat age spots or the first signs of skin aging.

Fade Away manages to strike a balance between effectiveness and tolerability.

It effectively combats hyperpigmentation, melasma, and acne scars – while remaining gentle on the skin. This means you can finally integrate vitamin C into your daily skincare routine without worry.

How much vitamin C does it contain?

Fade Away contains a select combination of vitamin C derivatives and Kakadu Plum. Kakadu Plum is a natural form of vitamin C. This combination makes the serum very similar to the effects of pure ascorbic acid – without causing irritation. The serum contains a total of 13% vitamin C.

Does it contain ascorbic acid?

No, this vitamin C serum does not contain pure ascorbic acid, as this is not well tolerated by sensitive skin. The combination of vitamin C derivatives and Kakadu Plum comes as close as possible to the effects of pure ascorbic acid. This makes it potent yet gentle on sensitive skin.

How long does the product last?

6 months after opening.

What is its pH value?

The serum has a pH of <5. This is not as acidic as pure ascorbic acid. Skin has an average pH of 5.5. A pH of <5 ensures that the vitamin C derivatives can work effectively. The serum is still not too acidic for sensitive skin.

What type of packaging does the serum come in?

The serum is packaged in a black glass pump bottle. This provides ideal protection from light, ensuring that the active ingredients retain their effectiveness.

How long can I use the serum?

The 30ml version lasts approximately 2-6 months, depending on usage.
