You can generally combine the Niacinamide Serum with all Xeno products. If you use Kind Balance (with 5% Niacinamide) in the evening, we recommend using Lean Back in the morning.

What makes Lean Back so special?

Typical serums usually dry out pimples and thus weaken the skin barrier, instead of addressing the root cause. With Lean Back, you compensate for a linoleic acid deficiency in the skin and thus bring fats back into their natural balance. The balanced dose of niacinamide between 3 and 5% is precisely within the effective range, meaning not too much or too little.

How does Lean Back differ from other Xeno products?

Lean Back is an active ingredient serum specifically for blemish-prone skin. You can also use it if you simultaneously tend to redness and pimples.

Why 3.14% Niacinamide?

At a concentration between 3% and 5%, Niacinamide has a whole range of positive effects:

Niacinamide has a sebum-regulating effect and is therefore useful for pimples and "blemishes".

Niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier, reduces redness, regulates sebum, and can lighten hyperpigmentation and age spots. Niacinamide is able to stimulate the formation of collagen fibers. We prefer the term Healthy Aging or Well Aging.

Above an application amount of 5%, the positive effect can be reversed. Below 3%, Niacinamide does not have its full range of effects. That's why we use a dosage between 3% and 5% in this Niacinamide serum.

What does liposomal encapsulation do?

Lean Back contains a tolerable dosage of Niacinamide (3.14%). The active ingredients are skin-identical, liposomal encapsulated, so that they are more tolerable and reach the site of inflammation faster. Liposomal capsules ensure that active ingredients penetrate deeper and more gently into the skin. The encapsulation is skin-identical and is found in all cells in the body.
