Application

Gently roll the cool ball over slightly damp skin – wherever redness, pustules or nodules are present or may develop.

Then continue your skincare routine as usual.

You can combine the serum with all Xeno products. You can apply it in the morning and evening.

MINIMALISM is an active ingredient serum specifically for redness, suitable for the care of rosacea/couperose. It reduces pustules, nodules, and prevents red lines.

CALM DOWN also reduces redness, but not as an active ingredient product, but by soothing and nourishing the skin.

Our other active ingredient serums have different focuses:

LEAN BACK: "Blemishes," pimples, and blackheads. It is also suitable if you are prone to redness at the same time, but this is not the main focus. Both serums can also be combined.

FADE AWAY: Vitamin C, to brighten hyperpigmentation, acne scars, prevent skin aging, and strengthen the skin's collagen.

What makes the Gentle Azelaic Serum so special?

The problem: Serums are either too aggressive and make things worse, or they do nothing at all. Either there are too many active ingredients, often including alcohols, essential oils, or overwhelming exotic active ingredients. With a bit of luck, you might find a low-irritant product that at least doesn't cause harm.

In this serum, we combine plant power with the active ingredient azelaic acid.Since azelaic acid can be slightly drying to the skin, this serum contains azelaic acid derivative. It is the gentle sister of the acid, inhibiting inflammation, pustules, and nodules.

We focus on vascular protection. Butcher's broom, purple algae, and horse chestnut are effective plant extracts that are often underestimated. They strengthen fragile vessels, prevent new enlarged capillaries, and gently and effectively inhibit redness.

To ensure all active ingredients are well tolerated, Ectoin is included. This extremolyte protects the skin from allergens and external irritants while providing moisture.

What's also special is the application: Redness is accompanied by swelling and lymphatic congestion. Use the antibacterial cooling ball broadly for a daily massage to actively inhibit redness.

This special combination of active ingredients and the roller application form reduces lymphatic congestion and swelling.

As always, it contains no fragrances, no alcohol, and no other irritating ingredients.

Own formulation and what that means

Unlike many products on the market, this formulation is self-developed. Only this allows us to address skin needs so precisely.

Many cosmetic brands do not develop their own formulations. This is called "white label" (standard formulation with a different label) or "private label" (slightly adjusted formulation). While this would save us a lot of work, only with our own formulations can we precisely address the needs of the skin. Otherwise, we would have to make compromises in many areas, such as ingredients we don't want to include. It is important to us to develop for each specific skin need.

What is the pH value of the gentle Azelaic Serum?

MINIMALISM has a pH value of 5.5. Skin has a pH value between 5 and 6. This slightly acidic range maintains the skin's acid mantle, which prevents bad bacteria from multiplying easily.

What kind of packaging does the product have?

The product is packaged in a dark glass bottle with an aluminum roller. The dark glass protects it ideally from light, ensuring the ingredients do not lose their effectiveness. We reserve the right to change the packaging without prior notice.

How long does the serum last?

6 months after opening, indicated by the small jar symbol on the label with the inscription "6M".

How long can I use the serum?

The 10ml version lasts approximately 1-3 months, depending on usage.

The 4ml version is intended for testing and should last approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on usage.
